Presses and shears

They compact and reduce material to more regular dimensions, simplifying handling, transport and furnace charging.

Shredder

It reduces offcuts, swarf and bulky scrap into more manageable, homogeneous fractions ready for subsequent processing.

Electromagnet

It separates and handles ferrous fractions through a magnetic field, improving material sorting efficiency.

INSPECTION AND CLASSIFICATION

Before delivery.

Processing facilities work to precise specifications. Each batch must therefore be identifiable, inspected and accompanied by the correct information.

The portal detects radiometric anomalies before the material enters the processing chain.

COMPOSITION

XRF analysis

Elemental readings support the identification of stainless steels, aluminium, copper and other alloys, reducing classification errors.

QUALITY

Sorting and classification

Visual, magnetic and commodity checks separate material families and support the preparation of homogeneous batches.

THE FINAL STEP

The material returns
to production.

Once sorted and prepared, material is consolidated into homogeneous batches and directed to the most suitable channel: steelworks, foundries or operators specialising in individual alloys.
